BS EN ISO 9001:2008
ISO 9001 is the international Standard against which
the Quality Management System of a business is evaluated, and is
intended to demonstrate that a business can provide a consistent
standard of quality in the goods and services it provides to its
customers.
Originally introduced to supersede BS 5750 and its
adopted Euro Norms in the mid 1980's, the latest revision model of
the Standard has now been published, BS EN ISO 9001:2008. This now
supersedes all earlier revisions, although the latest "old
standard'’ (9001:2000) is still valid for 2 years from December
2008.

14001:2004
International ISO 14001 Standard relates to management systems that
control the impact a company has upon its environment. In
today's environmentally conscious society, an increased pressure is
placed on organisations and industries, not just to pay "lip
service", but to show initiative in demonstrating their green
aspirations in regard to environmental issues.
Reducing
pollution, minimising waste and efficient use of raw materials and
energy can significantly increase the company’s efficiency and
reduce costs.
Maintaining operations within legislation, the ISO 14001 System will
protect the company, its directors and employees from prosecution.
